Loan terms and regulations
If you want to borrow from the NU library you must first fill in a borrowers application and approve the loan rules there. The NU library is for the NU hospital group staff. Students and interns in NU healthcare may borrow while they are in the business.
Responsibility
As the borrower, you are responsible for that everything borrowed in your name being will be returned in undamaged condition by the specified due date. If you suspect that someone else is using your account, you are responsible for your loans until you contact the library and the account is blocked.
A change of workplace or name must always be notified to the library. As a borrower, you are responsible for the correctness of the contact and personal details you provide to the library.
Reservation
If the book you want to borrow is on loan, you can reserve it. Uncollected reservations are deleted after 4 days.
Since many people want to borrow course literature, you may only borrow 1 copy of the same title/book. Any reservations on titles you are already borrowing will be removed. Only when your book has been returned can you queue for it again.
Claims and compensation
If the loans are not returned on time, reminders will be sent to your e-mail. After 2 claims, a compensation claim is sent and you will be blocked for loans. As a borrower, you are liable for compensation if your loans are not returned or come back in damaged condition.
