Entrances to NÄL and Uddevalla sjukhus locked
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, NU-sjukvården has from March 16th 2020 and onwards locked the hospital’s entrances. Only visitors who have passed the check point at the main entrance will be let in. Emergency visits are refered to the NÄL’s emergency room in Trollhättan.
Opening hours in the main entrance, NÄL and Uddevalla sjukhus: Monday through Sunday 6 am to 18 pm (patients and other visitors from 7 am)
Visitors to the maternity ward, NÄL: use the doorbell at the entrance.
Visitors to the psychiatric emergency room, NÄL: use the doorbell at the entrance.
No visitors allowed in the health care wards
From March 13th 2020 and onwards, no visitors are allowed in NU-sjukvården’s health care wards.
Restrictions also apply for visitors accompanying patients to the hospital. Exceptions may be given for patients who require help and for those who are visiting patients in palliative care. Please contact the ward/unit for further information before your visit.
Theese restrictions apply at NÄL, as well as Uddevalla hospital and Brinkåsen.
Patients who have a scheduled appointment
Please note that patients who have a scheduled appointment and do not receive any other information, are welcome to the hospital, provided they have no symptoms of respiratory infection.
If you become ill
Call the Swedish Healthcare 1177 if you or someone else become ill and you need to talk to a nurse for advice. You can also get information about where to go for help.
In case of a serious accident, serious medical condition or if you require an ambulance, call 112.
