We kindly ask you not to visit the hospital if you have a cough, fever, sore throat or other symptoms of a respiratory infection.
Entrances to NÄL and Uddevalla sjukhus open from 1 July 2020
From 1 July 2020 NU-sjukvården has opened the entrances to NÄL and Uddevalla sjukhus again. They were locked in March due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
No visitors allowed in the health care wards
Even if the entrances are open, NU-sjukvården is keeping the health care wards locked. Visitors are only allowed to visit patients if they have an agreement with the ward.
Restrictions also apply for visitors accompanying patients to the hospital. Exceptions may be given for patients who require help and for those who are visiting patients in palliative care. Please contact the ward/unit for further information before your visit.
Theese restrictions apply at NÄL, as well as Uddevalla hospital and Brinkåsen.
Patients who have a scheduled appointment
Please note that patients who have a scheduled appointment and do not receive any other information, are welcome to the hospital, provided they have no symptoms of respiratory infection.
If you become ill
Call the Swedish Healthcare 1177 if you or someone else become ill and you need to talk to a nurse for advice. You can also get information about where to go for help.
In case of a serious accident, serious medical condition or if you require an ambulance, call 112.
